This course aims to teach participants the requisite skills to audit a management system, be it security, quality, safety, environmental, and/or OH&S according to the international quality auditing standard ISO 19011.
The course introduces participants to the auditing process and requisite auditing skills and then requires them to conduct actual audits in the workplace.
Upon completion of the course, participants should be able to explain the audit process, compare and contrast different auditing methods, describe the roles, responsibilities and attributes of effective auditors, demonstrate how to collect objective evidence during an audit, plan and perform an audit, prepare an audit report, and evaluate the performance of an audit.
